Half Hour Early collectively blends the rich storytelling tradition of Newfoundland and Labrador with the lively rhythms and melodies of Irish folk music. Formed in 2023 by two passionate teachers, the band draws inspiration from their shared love of music, culture, and community. Though they came together in the classroom, their musical collaboration extends far beyond the school. The duo’s dedication to preserving the traditions of Irish Newfoundland music, while keeping it vibrant and accessible for new generations, is at the heart of every performance.
